Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Es war sehr komfortabel, sauber und gemütlich. Wunderschöner Blick auf den Strand und eine angenehme Brise. Alles, was man braucht und noch mehr, war direkt zur Hand. Viele Strandspielzeuge, ein Strandwagen, Boogieboards, Sandburgen-Zubehör, Bücher, Spiele, Puzzles und mehr. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen ❤️❤️❤️ We had a very lovely stay. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy. Beautiful beach front views and breeze. Everything you could need and more was at your fingertips. Lots of beach toys, beach trolley, boogie boards, sandcastle stuff, books, games, puzzles and more. Would definitely stay again ❤️❤️❤️

We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation 100% and certainly one of the best Airbnb properties we have stayed in. We were in between homes in Mackay whilst moving and Laura was so accomodating, proactive and kind during our conversations. The house is located in a beautiful beach side locale of Mackay that made for a wonderful stay. If we come back to Mackay i would definitelt be staying at Laura's again!

Die Nachbarschaft war ruhig und freundlich, was das Gefühl von Erholung und Entspannung noch verstärkte. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Ort zum Übernachten wünschen können und würden ohne zu zögern wiederkommen. We had the most wonderful two-week stay at Mackay Beachside Home, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach, making morning walks, ocean breezes, and peaceful sunsets part of our everyday routine. The home itself is beautifully presented, spacious, and thoughtfully set up with everything needed for a comfortable long stay. It was spotlessly clean on arrival, well maintained, and filled with natural light. Every detail made it clear that the hosts genuinely care about their guests’ experience. After busy days, it was such a joy to come back to a calm, relaxing space where we could unwind and feel completely at ease. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, adding to the overall sense of rest and relaxation. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely return without hesitation. Lauras Unterkunft ist fantastisch. Die Kommunikation mit Laura war sehr angenehm, ich kann die Unterkunft definitiv empfehlen – Sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein. Laura’s accommodation is amazing. Every small detail was thought of, from a kitchen that had every appliance, cookware etc, bathroom with plenty of useful items and more than enough linen. The furniture and beds were so comfortable and air conditioning in all rooms to cap it off. Laura was a pleasure to deal with, I definitely recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Lauras Unterkunft „Anna“ war makellos und wir wollten gar nicht mehr abreisen. Jedes erdenkliche Küchengerät und Möbelstück, das man sich nur wünschen kann, ist in Lauras Wohnung vorhanden. Sie ist geräumig, mit schönen, hellen Lichtern, vielen Kissen/Polstern, einem zweiten Satz Bettwäsche und Handtüchern im Schrank, viel Stauraum und reichlich Reinigungsmitteln. Das Kingsize-Bett war super bequem und die Sicherheit ist hervorragend. Laura hatte außerdem einen wunderschönen Weihnachtsbaum mit Lichtern im Wohnzimmer aufgestellt, sodass wir die Geschenke unserer Enkelkinder darunterlegen konnten, damit sie sie dort mit uns auspacken. Sie waren total aufgeregt und unser Sohn war richtig neidisch auf den Weihnachtsbaum. Uns fehlen die Worte, um zu beschreiben, wie wunderschön alles war und wie angenehm es war, nach der Zeit mit unseren drei energiegeladenen Enkeln und ihren unermüdlichen Eltern in eine so ruhige, friedliche Wohnung zurückzukehren. Auch sie fühlten sich bei ihrem Besuch nicht eingeengt, und die Kinder blieben einige Stunden bei uns. Laura’s place “Anna” was immaculate and we didn’t want to leave. Every conceivable kitchen appliance and furnishing that you could possibly wish for is in Laura’s place. It is roomy with lovely bright lights, plenty of pillows/cushions, second set of linen and towels in the cupboard, loads of storage space and plenty of cleaning supplies. The king bed was super comfortable, and the security is great. Laura had also placed a beautiful Christmas tree complete with lights in the living area, which meant we could place our grandkids’ presents under it for them to open there with us. They were so excited and our son had Christmas tree envy. We cannot think of enough glowing words to describe how beautiful it all was, and how lovely it was to come back to such a calm peaceful unit after spending time with our 3 energetic grandchildren and their non-stop parents. They did not feel crowded either when they visited us there and the children stayed with us for a few hours.

Es ist keine Hotel-/Moteleinheit, die büroartig und leer wirkt. Dies ist eine geschmackvoll und durchdacht eingerichtete Unterkunft. Die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich vorstellen kann – wir konnten Geld sparen, indem wir Lebensmittel kauften und in der komplett ausgestatteten Küche kochten (besser ausgestattet als die Küche in meinem eigenen Haus). Sogar einige Grundzutaten waren in der Speisekammer vorhanden. Meine Tochter mochte die Kinderbücher im Regal. Wir konnten Weihnachtsfilme über das Netflix-Konto auf dem Fernseher schauen. Der Ausblick aus jedem Schlafzimmer ist atemberaubend, man ist praktisch direkt am Strand – nur durch die Straße und einen Grünstreifen vom Strand getrennt. Draußen gibt es einen Grill usw. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war ausgezeichnet und sehr reaktionsschnell! If you are a travelling family, this place will comfortably look after you. I knew when we walked up the stairs this would be a good stay. Things like a Christmas tree being set up in the lounge room added an instant cozy feeling (we travelled in December). It is not a hotel/motel unit that feels office-like and empty. This is a tasteful, thoughtfully furnished unit. The kitchen came with every item known to man, we were able to save money by buying food and cooking meals in the completely furnished kitchen (better furnished than my own house's kitchen). The pantry even had some cooking essentials in it. My daughter liked the children's books on the book shelf. We were able to watch Christmas movies on the Netflix account that is on the TV. The view from each bedroom is breathtaking, you are basically right on the beach - separated only by the road and a nature strip before the beach starts. Outside has a BBQ etc. Excellent, responsive communication from the owner too!

The attention to detail is staggering: • Kitchen: Fully stocked is an understatement. This kitchen was equipped as if we lived there—multiple baking tins, a high-quality Air Fryer, a food processor, and every utensil imaginable. It was a joy to cook in. • Bathroom & Cosmetics: Even the toiletries were exceptional. There was a variety of high-quality bath and cosmetic products, including premium body lotion and superior hair products. This is a detail you rarely find! • Linens & Comfort: The beds were incredibly comfortable, complemented by fantastic, light, high-quality bedding and linen. A true delight for a perfect night’s sleep. • Thoughtful Extras: The apartment provided an abundance of necessities: a massive supply of towels, a huge variety of quality teas, and even a dedicated Netflix Guest Account for easy viewing. • Seasonal Touch: We were particularly delighted to find a beautiful Christmas tree set up—such a wonderful and festive personal touch that truly made our holiday special.
