Right from the start Laura was very responsive and answered all my questions. She went out of the way to accommodate our little bub with toys and a high chair and the Xmas tree with lights just made his day. The place was spotless and each item has a specific function and a specific spot. A lot of thought and creativity has gone into creation of this heavenly abode. It is a peaceful retreat for singles or couples - where you can just enjoy the beach outside, laze in the patio or simple binge watch your shows. Looking forward to booking again the next time we are in Mackay. Cheers !!

Had a great couple days off work at Laura’s place! The location was amazing — right across the road from Lamberts Beach (swam every day), with The Seabreeze Hotel in view from the front balcony and less than a minute’s walk away.
The accommodation itself felt really homey and actually made me wish I was on holiday a little longer. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, so I was able to cook a few home made meals and settle in comfortably.
The place was spotless on arrival and really well looked after. Even though it’s a two-unit accommodation, it was incredibly private and quiet — I could barely hear anyone coming or going from the other unit and honestly felt like I had the whole place to myself.
Would happily stay again next time I’m in the area. Thanks to Laura for being such a great host. Very quick to respond to messages and happy to give any suggestions 🫶

Could not fault this Airbnb experience at all. It just had everything and more. Two different outdoor areas and plenty of handy beach equipment. We particularly loves the high quality record player with multiple vinyls to select from.
Christmas Tree was a beautiful addition for this time of year. Thank you so much. We can't wait to visit again!

Beautifully set up, very homely and great value. Loved the views and a very handy restaurant for meals etc within walking distance. Everything you need is available to you in the home. Hosts have gone above and beyond in ensuring their guests are taken care of.

I had a great stay at Beachside Mackay. The place was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and everything I needed was provided. Laura was an excellent host — friendly, responsive, and thoughtful throughout my stay. I really appreciated the smooth check-in and how well the space was maintained.
Highly recommend staying here, and I’d be happy to return in the future.

We had a delightful stay, the home has everything you need for a perfect stay. The place was so pristine and spacious with a lovely outlook of the beach. Linen and towels were plush and it was handy having the garage for the car on those sunny days.

“Anna” is a haven of tranquility, a home made so cosy and welcoming by the lovely Laura who could not be more accomodating and who wants to make your stay as personable as possible. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough, it’s peaceful, comfortable, the bed especially! The view of the ocean, with beautiful sunrises, the use of the turntable to set a musical backdrop to your stay and the well equipped kitchen with shopping bags to use when you visit the supermarket, a 10 minute drive away, all adds to the specialness of this home from home. The shower is beautiful, the air con and fans, perfect and to have a garage to put the car in, with remote garage door, is a real treat and keeps the car cool. Mackay is a wonderful location for exploring - Cape Hillsborough to see Kangaroos on the beach at sunrise, Eungella National Park to see Platypus and a spectacular view point over a vast valley, and Airlie Beach is only 1.5hrs drive away. You will not fail to feel relaxed here!

Hands down, THE BEST Airbnb experience we’ve ever had !!
Laura was amazing to deal with. She was so helpful and accommodating to us and our family needs (travelling with 2 small children).
Both properties were so stunning. Every little detail had been thought of. We felt so at home and comfortable, we didn’t want to leave.
There’s literally nothing we can fault about our experience.
We are never staying anywhere else when we travel to Mackay!
